Accommodations

Cuddlist is committed to accessibility.

We have designed this course with different types of learners from different social and economic contexts in mind. However, you are all unique individuals with lives and experiences unlike anyone else, and we might have missed something that would better support you. If you find something about this course is creating a barrier to you finishing, please contact us at training@cuddlist.com so we can do our best to find a solution.

Examples of some accessibility accommodations:

  • Folks with anxiety disorders might not be able to do the paired activities with a classmate. They may pair with a comfortable person in their life and submit a recording of the assigned activity.

  • Folks with learning disabilities may need an audio option for the text portion of the lessons. Many devices give the option in settings that allow the device to read text aloud. There's also this website: https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/

  • Folks with neurodivergence might need additional time to complete lessons, or they might want to submit a voice recording of their assignment instead of a written response.

While there may be limitations to our capacity for accommodations, we ALWAYS want to at least try to find something that will work. We will work to be as approachable and supportive as we can. We request that you also work to advocate for yourself and be responsible for offering solutions that will work for you, to the best of your ability.
