2. What elements are required in every Cuddlist session?
Every Cuddlist session holds to the Cuddlist Code of Conduct.
Every Cuddlist session, without exception, begins with our opening agreement
Every Cuddlist session is client led. Cuddlist practitioners work with their clients to discover how their CLIENTS like to cuddle. We focus on empowering our clients to identify what feels good and to make choices, while we honor and model healthy boundaries.
3. What will I get from this training even if I don’t want to work with clients?

6. Do I have to charge $80/hour for my sessions?
The minimum rate allowed for a Cuddlist session is $80/hour. You may charge anything over that which you deem best for your practice. Though it's not a suggested practice, your fee may dip below $80/hour in the event of a temporary promotion or sliding scale for accessibility. If you join Membership and add your profile to the Cuddlist website, you may list promotions and sliding scale options but not any specific dollar values lower than $80. (These standards apply to the Cuddlist website. You may list other prices elsewhere on the internet, though we HIGHLY recommend respecting this industry standard to value your work, worth, time, and skill. Industry standards also support your colleagues.)
7. Do I have to do a session with anyone who requests? On what basis can I turn down clients?
You definitely do NOT have to work with any particular client. This is foundational to consent. In fact, part of what you are learning in this training is trusting your ability to say “no” and to not work with anyone with whom you are not comfortable. While you may never discriminate on the basis of age, gender, size, race, religion, or sexual orientation; you are always able to choose not to work with an individual. (More on this is the DIVERSITY EQUITY & INCLUSION lesson.)
8. I offer other types of sessions. Can I offer these to people who request a cuddle session?
It is extremely important to be clear about exactly what service you are providing when and to whom. For your safety, for the integrity of your practice, and for the wellbeing of the client, do not offer other services or products to a first time cuddle client. (If you join Cuddlist Membership and list your profile on the website, there is a specific protocol for changing modalities outlined in the Cuddlist Integrity Policy that you must sign and commit to.) If you have a conversation with your client AFTER that first session is over and you both decide to switch to another modality that is more suited to their specific needs, you may do so. We recommend using a signed Changing Modalities Waiver. You are not permitted to advertise any MLM service or product to a Cuddlist client.
9. What if I join Cuddlist Membership, but then I want to be removed from the site?
You have no obligations to stay. Cuddlist Membership is a service for you and includes resources beyond your website listing. If you would like to join Membership for all the additional benefits and resources but don't want to be listed on the site, that is welcomed. If you would like to be taken off the website temporarily, that is welcomed. If you would like to cancel your subscription and be removed entirely from Cuddlist Membership, that is welcomed. For any of these changes, you can email help@cuddlist.com at any time.
10. I changed my mind after I enrolled in the training and I’m not interested anymore, can I get a refund?
Cuddlist Certification is non-refundable. This training promises to provide you access to an educational course on cuddle therapy. If you have opened this course and are reading this, you have access to that information, meaning we have fulfilled our product promise. If you have feedback about the course, please email us at training@cuddlist.com as we are always improving and evolving.
